Dinner – a local recommendation

After recovering from the hair ordeal we decided to follow the recommendation of the hairdresser for where to have dinner. We ventured through the city, this way and that (thank goodness for SatNav) until we finally found our destination – L’Avenue - a dimly lit, funky café with groovy music playing loudly – with a menu COMPLETELY in FRENCH (no English translations here). We eventually figured out how to order a cooked sandwich, burger, fries and a glass of much needed wine. The perfect way to finish our Montreal stay – bon appétit!

 

Back to the hotel for a quick dip in the heated indoor pool before dinner and bed.
