Drive… drive… drive… CN Tower
The next morning allowed just enough time for us to do a small walk around
the local neighbourhood before a breakfast of waffles, bagels, bacon and eggs
before heading back to pack up and depart on a long car trip (which I slept
through for the most part) which saw us arrive in Toronto about an hour before sunset. We took
the lift to the observation deck of the CN Tower (which is higher than the
combined height of the leaning tower
of Pisa , the great pyramid of Giza and the Eiffel
Tower ) where we watched
the sun set. It was a little too breezy to go outside so we stayed indoors to
appreciate the view! Inside we braved the glass floor (the boys being MUCH
braver than their mum…) which overlooked one of the major sporting fields.
