Take a drive on the wild side…

Elephants bathing, painting and playing soccer… birds of prey swooping overhead… lions mating outside your window… baboons hitching a ride on the bonnet… a rhino scratching it’s horn on the car rear bumper (bit of a debate about whether the insurance covers wild-ish animals)… a giraffe licking a bus… zebras frolicking… deer… bison… WHERE ARE WE? At the African Lion Safari of course! After watching a few shows and looking through the enclosures of birds such as the bald headed eagle, vultures and various owls, we drove the car through the different environments where the animals are free to roam (and get up close and personal with the car!!). It was obviously mating season as we saw many of the animals partaking in procreation – quite a lesson in biology and anatomy for the boys (amusing also apparently).  We stayed until the park closed and then drove to Niagara.
